The Lefty Nation Podcast Overview

“Bringing Balance to An Otherwise Right-Handed World”

We’re just two left handed guys “Bringing Balance to An Otherwise Right-Handed World”.  We enjoy being left handed, yet don’t get us wrong, we love our right-handed and ambidextrous brothers and sisters.  We love all!

We also think it’s cool to share inspiring and fun narratives with the world.

We take the best of what people like about Desus and Mero, My Next Guest, Pee Wee’s Playhouse, and Smartless type of pod/video/cable casts and do our best to deliver cool stories that you, Lefty Nation, will love to hear.

Our regular guest series introduces great people who have great stories to tell. Lefty Nation gives these stories a platform, and hope they inspire, or set off ideas in others.

During each pc, we weave our passions, and what we have learned along the way, as southpaws, into the discussions and questions.

Guests can include writers, tennis players, play by play announcers, cartoonists, restaurateurs, and musicians to name a few.  I’d love to hear the stories of the current skateboarder and listen to how he or she got to their current success in life. Or the young restaurateurs in today’s hospitality scene who have come from other countries (Italy, Peru and Venezuela) to make it in the US.  Or the stories of a play by play announcer and how he persevered to reach a major  milestone in his life and work.

Lefty Nation podcast is fun, funny, light, informal, honest, informative, and not matter what we do our best to keep it real.

Lefty Nation supports organizations that help others succeed, which in turn helps a community grow.

Pandemic life.  How did you survive 2020? I know a person who was living in NY, and during the time she was visiting back home in the UK, she got stuck and was not allowed to return to the US.  So she stayed and lived with her parents and about half way through the year moved to New Zealand to live in a covid free place. She recently returned to NY in April.

Did you know?

Saqqara Tomb in Egypt.  Imagine being the first person to see and touch a skull, bones, or a mummy for the first time in 3,200 years?!  This is someone’s burial ground who died around 1200 BC.  Here’s a fun fact.  Did you know that in Egyptian burials, back in the BC era, when they prepped the dead to go to the underworld, one step in the process is to take out a person’s ‘innards’. Yuck!  All the organs, gone!  No heart.  No lungs, nor intestines.  I better stop talking about this shit.  Just thinking about the smell of rotten meat is making me ill.  This was their way of preparing one to go to the underworld, their heaven.
